CELEBRATING GOOD NEIGHBORS

What does it mean to be a good neighbor? To us, it means taking care of each other and doing what we can to build strong, vibrant, healthy communities.

We were delighted this summer to welcome new neighbors to the Stockman family in Plains, Kalispell and Bigfork, as we completed our acquisition of Rocky Mountain Bank branches in these communities. Stockman’s growth in Montana over the past 71 years, has been largely organic. By that, we mean we have grown by investing in new products, services and technology, employing more Montanans and steadily building and opening new locations across our state. Bank acquisitions are a rare occurrence for us. However, we have received such a warm welcome in the Flathead Valley since opening our first branch in Kalispell, we could not pass up the opportunity to open more locations in western Montana. The acquisition allowed us to expand more quickly and efficiently to serve more of our neighbors.

In addition to these new branches, we continue to invest in additional new banking locations. Earlier this year, we opened our third location in Bozeman.  In May, we broke ground for construction of our new bank in south Helena and in August for our new bank in Columbia Falls. Both state-of the -art, full-service banks are expected to be complete by the end of next year.

We also continue to invest in our products and services. We are pleased to introduce our new line of Stockman personal and business credit cards, designed to meet our unique financial needs in Montana. Our credit cards give you the purchasing power you need to take care of life, plus innovative tools and services to make managing your spending easy, safe and rewarding. Best of all, our cards offer Montana service for Montana customers, with local, customer support and afterhours access to a customer service representative who will answer your call. To learn more, stop by your local Stockman Bank or visit our website: stockmanbank.com.

We thank you for the privilege of standing side-by-side with you every day, helping to make our communities better places to live, work and play. Every employee, customer, and neighbor matters to us.  To show our gratitude, we invite you to stop by your local Stockman Bank on Friday, September 27, for refreshments and giveaways as we celebrate Good Neighbor Day. Please join us! It’s always good to get together!
